UCL Accommodation Portal
UCL Accommodation are aware that some students are experiencing technical issues when applying for halls on the UCL Accommodation Portal. The issue is also impacting students responding to accommodation offers. We are currently working with UCL IT Services and our suppliers to resolve the issue, as a priority.
The Accommodation team will backdate applications once submitted to the date when the issue was reported to IT Services. Please be reassured that accommodation offers will not be withdrawn whilst the matter is investigated, until resolved.

The UCL Accommodation Portal allows you to apply for accommodation and access additional online services offered to you by UCL Accommodation.
If you have firmly accepted your offer to study at UCL for 2024-2025 Academic Year, you can now apply for accommodation.
- Undergraduate or Affiliate students should apply for UG and Affiliate 2024-2025 (39 weeks).
- Postgraduate students should apply for PG 2024-2025 (50.57 weeks).
- Affiliate students here for the first term only, should apply for 2024-2025 (Term 1).
Current students can submit an accommodation application for the 2023-2024 Academic Year to join our waiting list.
UCL accommodation is offered based on your room preferences, maximum weekly rent and subject to availabilty. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis so please get your application in as soon as you can. Complete the application form for your preferred accommodation considering room type and budget. Our accommodation is in high demand so your offer might not match exactly what you have asked for as it is based on current availabilty. However, we will work to get you the best possible accommodation based on what you have asked for.
If you have received an offer of accommodation, our Portal will allow you to respond to your offer and request a different arrival date. Before you arrive you'll also be able to book a time to check in to your hall and complete your mandatory pre-arrival induction.
To access the UCL Accommodation Portal, choose the option below that best applies to you:
- I haven't logged in before, I haven't registered an email address and I don't have a UCL user ID
- I have registered an email address but I don't know my password
- I have a UCL user ID but I don't know my password
- I'm ready to log in, I have a UCL user ID or have registered an email address, and I know my password
